Benefits According to Job Status
Your job status determines the benefits for which you are eligible. To determine the benefits for which you are eligible, click on the job status that applies to you.
- Regular Full-Time Employment
(at least 35 hours per week for six consecutive months or more) - Regular Part-Time Employment
(at least 20 hours per week but less than 35 hours per week for six consecutive months or more) - Temporary with Benefits
(at least 20 hours per week for six consecutive months or more) - Layoff
(official University layoff status equals a period of up to one year from the effective date of layoff) - Changing Jobs
(contract college to endowed, part-time to full-time, etc.) - Military Leave (Endowed), (Contract College)

- Position Leave
(a leave of absence for a period of up to six months while your department holds your job) - University Leave
(a leave of absence for a period of up to one year)
