Skillsoft On-line Courses

Offering over 2,000 on-line courses in information technology and business-related topics including Adminstrative Support, Communication, Customer Service, Human Resources, Leadership, Management, Personal Development, and Team Building. The SkillSoft Guide lists available courses with links to their descriptions. To register, please contact Organizational Development Services at (607) 254-6400 or via e-mail at<org_dev@cornell.edu> to obtain an ID and password.

New SkillSoft Feature: Books24x7

Books24x7, an online book resource from SkillSoft, offers complete unabridged contents of thousands of the latest and best business and technology books. The three collections available are BusinessPro, ITPro, and OfficeEssentials. BusinessPro provides resources on many topics including accounting, communication, leadership, management, problem solving, time management, writing skills, and more. The ITPro collection covers over 100 different technology topics covering the latest programming languages, coding methodologies, network security, telecom protocols, IT asset management strategies, to name just a few. OfficeEssentials provides access to the latest information on standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and more.

Federal and state laws and Cornell University policy require that all employees receive safety training and be informed of the potential health and safety risks that may be present in their workplace, before possible exposure. Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) offers credit courses and noncredit workshops designed to help Cornell University staff members become proficient in their core competencies.
