Recreation
Cornell Recreation Connection (CRC): provides social, cultural, and recreational activities that support its mission to promote camaraderie in the Cornell community. All staff and faculty are automatically members of CRC! All graduate students and retirees are also members. Throughout the year, CRC offers trips and events both in Ithaca and elsewhere. Events include bowling at Helen Newman Hall, a steak roast, the Halloween costume party, and trips to places such as the New York City and Old Forge Water Safari. CRC also has its own park with a pavilion that includes a kitchen and up-to-date bathroom facilities. Some CRC functions are held at the park, which can be rented by Cornell departments for workshops, retreats, picnics, or other celebrations.
