Organizational Development Services
Organizational Development Services (ODS) is a service unit of Cornell
University's Division of Human Resources. We provide university administrators,
managers, faculty, and staff with consultations, training, support, and
direct assistance in handling individual, unit, and university-wide direct
service issues in human resource management and organizational development
and change.
ODS is responsible for the delivery of organizational consulting, which
strategically addresses individual and organizational effectiveness. ODS
consultants participate in assessments of organizational and individual
needs; change management strategies; organizational design; competency
identification and development; performance management systems; and interdisciplinary
state-of-the-art human resource research and interventions. In collaboration
with the local Human Resource representatives, we provide services
to academic and non-academic organizations and employees in the areas
of professional development and
career services and organizational development.
