Specialized OD Programs
Organizational Development Services has several specialized training programs which can be provided in whole or in part, on an individual or a unit basis, and which can be tailored to specific needs. These include:
Performance Management: A program that helps colleges, units, and individuals to perform at levels that meet the group's needs and objectives. This program explores three areas that have been shown to substantially affect performance:
| | the competencies, skills, attributes, and knowledge that most staff will need in the future |
| | the effects of new technology on performance, and |
| | changes in organization that can positively or negatively affect performance depending on how they are implemented or received. |
The program consists of nine modules of "how-to" information which may be taught as one course or custom-selected for specific unit needs.
Individual and Unit Assessments
Assessment instruments such as climate surveys, team function surveys, 360-degree surveys, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Strong-Campbell Interest Inventory, and specialy focused questionnaires may be used to assess individuals or units/teams in a variety of ways. These assessments can then assist with greater group or individual understanding and development, awareness of differences and diversity, and performance improvement.
Competency-based Training Courses
A full range of educational and training programs and workshops to enhance individual or unit competencies are available to all staff and faculty. These and all other interventions can be tailored for specific groups or needs.
