Service Recognition Program

David J. Skorton

Dear Members of the Cornell University Staff:

I join Vice President for Human Resources Mary Opperman in congratulating members of our Cornell community who have achieved the milestones of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service to the university.

Those of you being recognized this year play many different roles within the university. Cornell benefits from the dedication and skill you bring to your work, whether in Ithaca, Geneva, New York City, or any of the many other locations where Cornell has a presence. Through your creativity and commitment to excellence, you contribute to the success of Cornell’s students, faculty, alumni, and your colleagues at the university, and we are grateful for your efforts on Cornell’s behalf.

This tradition of recognition is one small way of giving back to you for your many years of superb service. This year we honor, in all, 1,357 staff members who are celebrating milestone anniversaries. For your years of dedicated service, we extend a sincere “Thank you.”

Best regards,

David J. Skorton
