Service Recognition Program Outline

There are different levels of the Service Recognition Program, denoted by the number of years of credited service, as follows:

Five, Ten, and 15 years

As part of the service recognition program, staff members with 5, 10, and 15 years of credited service at Cornell are honored by their departments with certificates of recognition.

20 years

Staff celebrating 20 years of credited service are honored with certificates of recognition and also receive anniversary gifts.

25, 30, 35, and 40 years

Staff celebrating 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of credited service are honored with certificates of recognition and also receive anniversary gifts. Annually, the Office of the President hosts the annual Service Recognition Dinner, honoring those staff members who have been employed by Cornell for 25, 30, 35, and 40 or more years. Over 40 years

Staff who have reached 40 years of credited service are invited to the Service Recognition Dinner every year. Staff celebrating 45, 50, and 55 years of credited service also receive a certificate of recognition and an anniversary gift. Visit the 25+ Club page for program details.
