Camp Explorations 2008 at Cornell
Camp Explorations 2008 provides children ages 5-12 with age-appropriate challenges, adventures and learning opportunities in a summer day camp environment. This year, the day camp has returned to campus and will be held at Anna Comstock Hall, June 30-August 15.
Activities
Once again, the activities will be thematically organized by week to meet a variety of interests.
Registration
To register your child, please return the camp registration form with a non-refundable registration deposit of $30.00. You must submit a registration form and deposit for each child. The registration form and the check for the registration deposit (made out to Bright Horizons Family Solution) should be mailed:
- via regular mail to Camp Explorations at Cornell, Cornell University, P.O. Box 43 - Day Hall, Ithaca, NY 14853; or
- via campus mail to Camp Explorations at Cornell, c/oWDELQ, Room 160, Day Hall.
Rates
Weekly camp fees include the cost of all activities during the regular camp day (9 a.m.-4 p.m.), morning and afternoon snack, lunch on Monday and Friday, as well as before camp care between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. and after camp care from 4-5:45 p.m.
Rates have been set at:
Graduate students: $100/week
Cornell employees with household incomes:
- under $34,999: $100/week
- $59,999: $135/week
- $84,999: $170/week
- $99,999: $195/week
- $150,000: $225/week
Non-Cornell employees and students: $250/week
Note: If you received a child care grant for calendar year 2008, you may apply up to 25% of your grant total, not to exceed the monies in your account at the time of registration, toward the summer day camp.
