As of February 2004, Tompkins County incorporated the following into the local Anti-discrimination Law :
County Code, Chapter 92 - Sexual Preference/Orientation/Gender Identity and Expression Law
This law prohibits discrimination within Tompkins County on the basis of sexual orientation/preference or affectional orientation/preference. Effective February 2004, this law was amended to also protect against discrimination on the basis of actual or perceived gender identity and expression.
Tompkins County Human Rights Commission

is an "open" group for TGs of all orientations (we are not judgemental) and their significant others, to make like minded friends and learn about issues and share solutions which may have worked for us. This is a male to female support group.
